Untitled ProseI was sitting, waiting fairly restlessly. Airport chairs seemed to be hardedned for my nervous discomfort. I was flipping through an over-priced book – a biography, what was I thinking? - trying to distract myself from my eternally delayed flight, when I saw her. She dropped her bags at my feet and fumbled in the pockets of her faded jeans. She jammed some coins into the slot, dialling a memorised number.Untitled Prose
There was so much conviction in her eyes, or perhaps it was desperation. Her foot began to tap and she was biting her nails. I suddenly found myself waiting with baited breath for the anonymous stranger to retrieve her call. &n
